thumper, how does that bass sound with the 8's in the rear deck? what does the output compare to? does it sound like a 12" sub in a sealed box in the trunk or what?
i'm interested in doing setups like that, but it's a lot of work for it to just sound like ass. |

I never finished the installation of the rear deck. I still have the 8s, but I just didn't have enough power running to them. The rear deck rattled like bitch too. I would need to make a sealed enclosure from fiberglass. Quite possible, but no time right now.
Since I never finished the installation I can't tell you how it would sound. |

i always toyed with the idea of making an enclosure out of 6" pvc. bolt it up to the back of a baffle and have two 90 degree bends so that it looks like:

then have a sub firing into each end with dapening inside it. kindof a low profile sealed enclosure for the rear deck. |
